Soap: Soap Dough

Soap Dough??? Really??? Who would have thought?

Well here it is….the best and ‘cutest’ way to rebatch soap is “Soap Dough”! It is not only the easiest…but OMG the possibilities are endless. So because I can’t contain my joy anymore…I have to share this with you…

For the Soap Dough you will need:

Ingredients

½ cup Liquid Soap

½ cup Corn Starch

1 tsp Olive Oil

½ tsp Glycerine

Food colouring of your choice

Few drops of Essential Oils (optional)
By the way – any liquid soap will do. Bath wash is best. I used re-batched soap however (1 cup soap scraps + 4 cups water. If using Handmade soap, there is no need to add Glycerine)

Place all the ingredients (except the colours) into a large bowl.

Slowly mix all the ingredients together.

Knead well to form a dough.

Divide the dough into parts and add colouring. Knead well.

Roll out and cut into shapes. Set aside to dry for a few days. Your soaps are ready to use.

*The soap dough should feel soft and squishy but not wet or sticky. If you feel like it is to wet just add a pinch or two of cornstarch.
