These little nuggets are packed with nutrition and anti-oxidants. The perfect guilt-free dessert, afternoon pick me up treat and anytime snack! Make them with your kids!
Bliss balls pack and travel well and because they taste amazing – natural sugars from date and honey will satisfy any sweet tooth – my kids just love them! Pack them in the school lunchbox to help sustain kids’ energy levels. Freeze them for longer storage and enjoy them straight from the freezer for a cool treat.
My Bliss Balls recipe is packed with ‘super foods’, is refined sugar-free and Gluten Free!
Ingredients (Makes 16 truffles)
Goji Berries – 15 g
Almonds or Walnuts – 45 g
Dates (pitted) – 60 g
Prunes (pitted) – 75 g
Himalayan Pink Salt – 2 g
Maca powder raw organic – 10 g
Manuka Honey – 60 g
Chia Seeds ground – 2 tsp
Flaxseed powder – 2 tsp
Psyllium husk 1 tsp
1 tsp organic Coconut oil
2 tsp Protein powder (optional)
Raw organic Cacao powder for dusting (optional)
Place all the ingredients in a food processor.
Blitz for a minute or so until all the ingredients are mixed and ground up coarsely.
Remove the mixture into a bowl and knead gently.
Roll small balls (mouthfuls) and dust with the Cacao powder. Enjoy!
